Just like VTEC16 and banned for 2 weeks

Well some of you guys may have read VTEC16's recent post about how he was banned for two weeks from the OzHonda forum. I also found myself in the same situation, with mods placing a block on me for some apparent defamatory comments i made in the lounge/for sale section. When i pm'd 'Wynode' he wrote back saying check the section and see what i wrote, however I wasnt even able to check it out as i was not only banned, but i hadn't felt i'd said anything wrong at all! Now to top it off my photos for the ozhonda photocomp were submitted on the first day the comp was announced, and to this day havent been put up to be eligable for viewing (at least not where ive seen em). Now in my opinion this is pretty slack from the mods as i viewed them as doing alright in the competition. The dude who runs the comp wrote back to me and said submit in 1024x768 format as it would make em look better, and as i had the pics on my work computer i wasnt able to alter them at all and dont have the resources to modify them. following that Wynode emailed me saying he would post them up.

Now im not sure if i've missed somthing but i wasnt able to view my photos in the album section of my mates yellow ITR sideways on the skidpan, and to tell u the truth its pretty ****ing slack of the moderators for not posting them up even though they were submitted as individual emails, and even though you verified the 800x600 image size was suitable. Not only have you lost faith in me as a member for both the photocomp and the 2 week ban (which lasted 3 weeks) but also i dont feel compelled to check the site out and contribute any more. I know i wont be ordering anymore stickers or offering my services to the site anymore as clearly senior members arent being respected.

You were banned for rude and unwanted comments in a thread which was not yours. Your account was disabled for 2 weeks and now reinstated. There was nothing "apparent" about the comments you made. They were very clear cut. The 2 week ban was a direct result of your OWN actions. Now you deem it fair to whinge about it.

Your photocomp submission was rejected as per Photocomp #2 rules:
Submission requirements
Failure to follow these requirements will prevent entry into the competition
1. Email entries to photocomp@ozhonda.com
2. Subject must contain your username and the entry number.
For example: 'fueltank 1'
3. Only 1 JPEG formatted image per email
4. Submissions received after the closing date will not be accepted.
5. Images must be re-sized to 1024x768.
If you submitted them on the very first day, what stopped you from resizing and resubmitting them before the cut-off date? Once again, the non submission of your Photocomp #2 entries were a direct result of your OWN actions.

To say anything otherwise is an utter joke. The automated email you received from the OzHonda Team was confirming that your entry had been received, and would be posted up PERMITTING that your entry was in line with the submission rules, which it WAS NOT.

You might think of yourself as a "senior member" (what does that term even mean? AFAIK you haven't contributed significantly to the forums or discussions...), but the fact of the matter is everyone is treated equally. Why should your 800 x 600 photo submission be accepted when everyone else had to adhere to 1074 x 768?

Perhaps if you seek respect, you should also strive to SHOW it. For example, not posting up laughable threads expressing your indignation and distress towards a bunch of people who strive to make this community helpful and enjoyable for all.

u were obviously banned, AFTER a general warning was made not to post unrelated comments.

in regards to ur photos. read the terms and conditions, of the photo comp. submissions needed to be in 1024x768 format, to be eligible.

fusion_VTi - mate, relax. no need to get all hyped up about some silly contest or a ban. big deal u were left out for a while...good thing is you're back. just try not to make any mistakes this time.

Understand that to manage a forum, rules are created and everyone has to adhere to it. Be it that you may be a Senior, a die-hard fan or heck maybe even Wynode's uncle...rules are rules!

Hope you can get over it. Cause it really isn't that big a deal considering the circumstances and ultimatum given at the time. I hope you can move forward from this like Mike (VTEC16) and live to learn from your mistakes and live like one big happy family.
