hey jst wondering...are there any HIDs diy post-ups for audm dc2r ( 1999)...

tried using search option nothing useful came up....

thanks...

also if anyone knows....if the front bumper is required to be taken off for installation?? all help appreciated =]

you dont need to take off your front bumper man..

just twist out the old bulbs, twist in the new bulbs. PLug the ballast into the existing hb4 socket and then plug the bulbs into the other side of the ballast. Mound the ballast into a safe position then done.

yer cuase jst helping install HIDs for my mates dc2r..done it on my euro b4 bt yer..dat required taking off front bar...

LMAO!!! dw fanx...jst finished installing em... looks great...he got 8000k bt dere not as blue as my 8000k ones..not sure y?? anoyne got any ideas?? he got bosch brand..

different brands give different light output even though same K rating.

the 8000 in dc2's look like 6000k. they're pretty dim.

and i got no pics of it off a wall. maybe james can help u out on that one :cool:

yer....the ones that lilwilliam( william ) helped jamezy ( james) install on his dc2r....they were bosch brand..8000k...however they were onli slightly blue...range was reasonable..

For the dc2, Just plug and play. Connect the stock plug into the transformer andthen connect the HID bulb with Transformer too. If not working, Cut the stock plug, re-connect to opposit side andthen plug it in. For the bosch brand, 8000K is the best colour i like.

yoo the 8000k i have are more white blue has a blue purple tinge cut off

when i can be ***ed ill take pictures of cut off and ill post dem up lol

depends on brand some are realli blue some arent all comes down 2 brand in

the end i guess but these are good cos dont catch too much attention from the po po ..
