Yeah cool.I would still try a hardwear shop,if they don't have it he should be able to point you in the right direction, like a plumers shop or something.

just get some sort of rubber weather shield form bunnings.... or maybe one of those dense foam type that they use on A/C tubings

They sell it at bunnings as weatherseal tape. It's foam on one side (they have at least 3 different types of foam available) and sticky tape on the other side. The bunnings one is wider (2cm) and more expensive. If you want a cheaper and narrower one (but just as good), then go to supercheap auto and buy the same thing, weatherseal tape.

Bunnings is definately the place to go!

^^ Yeah. Go for the black foam. That one is denser and can withstand heat. The white one just crumbles after a while. $14 at Bunnings for 2cm wide, about $7 at Supercheap for 1cm wide.

yah i work at bunnings (strike me now lord) and its a weatherseal tape, found in builders hardware section. ppl usually stick it around doors for stopping heat escaping, you can get it precut or on a roll per metre at about $3-$5 per metre depending on width/type

Yeah I just bought some today for $6 for the thick one, put it under my roof lining so stop rattles from the subs and under the interior light as it was rattling, also behind the door pods.

Works a treat.
