GOD DAM, i swear to god the people who design cars must NEVER work on them, how the **** are you supposed to get the left had side housing bolt out?

i have a half inch swivel bit here that was just too big... i tried everything, i moved the loom conduit out of the way from in front of it, tried removing the heater hosem used a long extension, everything, just cannot for the damned life of me get to it

so i ran out of time and will try again another time when i can get my hands on a 3/8 swivel bit...

any pointers fellas, because i had to put it back together or i was going to start beaking things

So I take it your putting a cooler Thermostat and Switch in?

Question:

Are you still running the stock ecu? Cause if you are your making a big mistake.

Hey Dean,

Yeh i know mate, ive dne this many times, maybe i do need to remove the intake, and maybe use a much longer extension, and get my hands on a 3/8the swivel.... ill give it another shot next weekend i think

i was going to get a cooler thermo, but really the rest of the motor is stock, so i though oem is best

Yep, thats cool. Stock thermo with stock ecu.

If you go Low temp thermo and Switch with stock ecu, the ecu does not see the car it warm normal operating temps, therefore it will be in cold start mode all the time. ie not very good.

ok mae, was just concerned about driving at freeway speeds with the motor running cold, but i suppose the oil would be warmer than the water anyways,

Japanese cars are made for small asian peeps, you just need smaller hands to get through there :p

How much did you get your thermostat for? Im in need for one too. I rang up honda dealer today and they quote me $80 for one. Quite expensive yes?
