Getting the Tein Flex c.overs fitted next week. Anyone here already running them on a DC5R and can you recommend any immediate settings to run?

Thanks in advance.

Don't lower it too much or your steering rack will knock against something. That's what I have been told by Indy@ISMR, and Ben@touge tune. My mate damaged his steering rack or something like that.

Some one on EC told me that you had to flip a joint upside down to make it work properly. Someone might know better, cos I did a shit job of explaining that, but that's an issue to consider. Also make sure you oil the springs on the spring seat or it will make a knocking noise. make sure you balence the weight out. Don't just dump your car to make it look better. And I dunno much about camber, but DC5 comes with adjustable Camber top mounts.

Thanks. I've got Shift fitting them so Sam will be looking after install. I trust him 100% with the car. I'm not lowering the car too much. If I was told one inch was optimal for handling then that's what I'd do. I didn't spend what I did on them just to dump the car. I could've got a $300 spring set to accomplish that.

The cars is going to spend most of it's life on the north shore local streets and once every couple of months at Wakefield. It's gotta be comfortable as well as handle well.

Well they're in now. Added the JDM wheels too. The car is in the shop tonight ready for wheel alignment and camber/toe adjustments. Dropped the rear 10mm from stance in pics.

Sorry for poor pic quality. Camera phone only.

Can't wait to drive it tomorrow. Just bedding them in slightly before adjustment on the paved driveway gave a much firmer feel.

I thought it was only a minor difference but it's amazing when looking at the back to back pics. Car has super sexy stance now and JDM wheels look so much better than AUDMs. Rays TE37s to go on next week.

It looks better with the TE37s on it. They sit closer to the guards than the JDM wheels do.
