Hi guys,
I have been using Shell fuel in my Euro and was using 95 OCT. They have now dropped this fuel (which was their mid range fuel) and replaced it with 10% Ethanol fuel.
Does anyone know what Honda's view is re the use of 10% Ethanol fuel in the 2.4L Vtec engine.
At the moment I have started to use Caltex 95Oct fuel instead of Shell.
Thanks heaps
Mike :(

But Honda has said that you can use up to 10% 95RON fuel in the Accord Euro. Shell E10 premium on the other hand is guaranteed to be a minimum of 94RON. That is 1 point too low for me. Why don't you just stick to Caltex?

Agreed. Caltex seems to agree with my car!
