What is the SI motor called... i know its this...
Engine 1,590cc DOHC 16 valve, 4-cyl EFI.. but what is it as in, b series? d searies? what do they fall under?

the search doesn't allow si to be searched, so looking for an alternative..

Yeh D16A8 96kw Non-VTEC.
Similar power output as the 1.6L SOHC VTEC found in the VTI

cheers.. so it the same as the ZC motor in crxs?

Yes its the same D16A8 found in the oldschool CRX

From what ive gathered; technically the D16A8 isnt called a ZC, but its virtually identical except for a few minor performance differences. (The D16A8 is slightly detuned to run on Aus fuel)

I was told that the ZC was originally only in the Jap spec crxs but thanx to grey imports it made it's way down under.

I'm jet to find me one in brisbane :(, might have to actually rip apart the head and see what's wrong in there, *sigh* so lazy
