I didn't know honda made OEM heavy duty clutch for dc2r but according to a friend his cousin has one and is selling it. If this is true I'm wondering what a OEM heavy duty clutch for dc2r would be rated appose to a normal exedy heavy duty clutch?

The Type R clutches are rated higher then the 'non' type R hondas. ie the DC2R clutch is rated higher than the normal DC2 clutch. So this applies to all B series motors.

I am not sure if you would consider it a HD clutch though.

I would think that a Excedy HD clutch would be stronger again.

^^^yep agreed
u might as well get an aftermarket HD clutch cause they usually last longer and will cost the same to install...

3rd that notion.

I have just installed an Extreme organic H.D into my DC2R, no harder underfoot than the OE clutch, but a hell of a lot betta in every respect!
