low beam HIDs?

Is it correct that if i were to install a set of low beam hids into my car then i would lost my high beam?

most kits (well as far as i no, my kit did) did retain a low beam wen changing to a LOW hid kit

it shud anyway but thing is
u wudnt be able to see hi beam against the low beam HID.
but got legal reasons u must haf hi beams i belive?

i don't think its true. I've install HID low beam in my car and my high beam still works perfectly.:thumbsup:

well on EK its only one light hole for both hi beam/low beam

dc2r are seperate light housing

Notice, there's no seperate location for high beams.

Its true that on my car i'll lose the high beams. that sucks.
Although i guess i could just adjust/focus my low hids abit higher but not too high so that i wouldnt need my high beams?

check ur hid kit that ur gona get
it may / shud have extra hi beam globe in amber only
or get both HI/LOW hid's a bit more pricey

Don't do that, the glare would be sooo strong it's not even remotely safe.

low beam hid and amber hi beam
its all i need

Sorry forgot to mention that if i were to focus the beams up abit i'd move them abit to the left aswell. I dont think i'll do it though.

As for the kit im getting its only the low beams...got it for 99$ off from dude in hong kong.
