16" OR 17" RIMS FOR EG HATCH??????????????

which rims are better suited for a EG HATCH??
16"/7" or 17"/7"???????????

is there any disadvantage of haivng 17s???

heyy.. i had 15z and went for 17z.
i rekon 17z look hot.. but otherz prob wont like it..

16 is prob a good size to keep a bit of performance..
coz my car is sorta laggin a lil now havn 17"

i recken i will go for the 16s i had 17s before and they looked a little too big i recken!!

but mostly the 16s coz 17s slow my car down too much....and the 16s are cheaper and the 16s probs look better than the 17s.

if any1 has an eg hatch with 16s on it can they pm me plz coz i wanna check some pics

how much are you looking at spending?? try getting some light weight 16s like mugen or buddy club rims maybe look for some second hand ones as those rims are quite pricy brand new.

i hav 1 question tho, dus increasing the tyre profile give you better acceleration or worser acceleration? im currently on 16" with 45 profile..

17's look the best if you slam it.
I have no problems with them, and they grip better around corners at high speeds.
But seeing as your VTi is peformance based then maybe you should scope some lighter 16's.

get a set of gold or white 15's, semi slick tyres, would look mad... slam it down with sum superlows.... or coilovers. performance and looks,,, best of both worlds

K it goes more along the lines of looks are still acheivable, range of quality tyres and also the actual cost of these tyres.

16s for some reason are quite expensive on tyres..... dare I say that 17s are of quite similar price to 16s..... well at least from what I have seen...... my guess is that 16s are less common than 15s and 17s........ people tend to go straight to 17s these days.

So yer mainly the price of tyres and the actual types of tyres that you can get in 15s are very broad.
