Was kinda wondering about my speedometer and odometer lately, having recently changed to new wheels. I moved from 175/65/14 to 205/40/17.

According to http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html, the speedometer reading now is 2.2% too slow. I'd imagine I need to get it calibrated, but what's the usual procedure? Should I wait til a servicing or is there somewhere I can get it done quick and easily?

Cheers.

Keep in mind the police speed cameras have a 3% buffer, so you should be safe. And i think you need to be about 10% out before you should bother with a re-calibration... thats what my honda rep told me anyway ;)

With teh regular Hondas that use a speedo needle (except the Type R), the speedo usually indicates 100km/h when you are going at 96-97km/h.
