rewiering with 8ga? (abs\fuse box)

Hey guys, just thought id rewire a few stuff under the bonnet to make it look a lil better, iv got 8ga power cable from jb. is this wire good enough to replace with the power cable ont he able modual and the fuse box, and what guage wire should i be using to reground the battery to the chasses(4ga or lower?)
car is a honda integra dc2.

4ga should be fine for the battery to chassis (2ga could be overkill)
make sure with the chassis ground that the paint is etched away to make that good ground point.

the 8ga should eb fine for ur application for the abs and fusebox
