I'm looking into fitting a lip kit to my dc2 (type-r/mugen/spoon). My car is already dropped really low and if I fit the lip kit, I don't want it to crack/snap off if I go over a nice speed bump.
So is it bolted on at the front of the bar or from the bottom of the bar?
Thanks.

it depends on the lip. some bolts on the bottom and some bolt over the bumper.

you just have to be careful. mine scrapes coming out my drive way as well. IMO DC's with lips should be mandatory. w/o them...they look almost incomplete if you know what i mean.
