Just wondering if anyone has tried the oil. I've brought a bottle of 10w30 which says fully synthetic.

Anyone had any experiences with this oil?

Fuchs oil is supposed to be good. Which one did you get? Super GTO?

I think Super GTO is not full synthetic. Only Supersyn and titan is fully synthetic.

hey dude, i got exactly that same oil. im currently using it in my EG and i must say that i did feel a smoother ride from when i had Penrite in it. and its reasonably priced aswell. although it does take some time to heat up, dosnt really feel good when its gettin warmed up. i aint really up for the higher viscosity ranges cause im not flooring it all day and im not going to the tracks any time soon.

So what happened? Did you get gumming? For track, 5w-40 for sure.

I got the Super GTO 10w30, it says full synthetic.
But looking on the website it says 'Blended with MC Synthetic base stock'.
I'm not that technical to know. But i'll give it a try and see how we go.
I'm currently running Castrol Edge 5w30.

Let us know how it go. Interested with Edge and Super GTO. Still wonder which
1 is better.

Thinking of using Shell Helix eco 10w - 30 next time too.

i find 10w-30w too thin. I have been using 10w-50w ELF full synthetic.

I found the oil got really hot and oil pressure dropped.

No idea. Mechanic just put it in. Was $10 per Litre.

Edge 5w-30 is a hydrocracked synthetic. Not as good as true PAO synthetics.

Shell Helix Eco 10w-30 is a cheap mineral oil. You're better off using Honda FEO.

When the engine is hot, especially in the head area, cheap oil will break down after a while and deposit all over the head in a gum-like material. Happens commonly to BMWs, with their 1-2 year service interval and BMW-OEM full synthetic oil.

God damn, didnt know oil can do that. I thought if it gets too hot it would just burn.
