Ok i have been told by the mechanic that my fuel pump is ok however i need to keep my fuel level above 1/4 of the tank or it wont pump fuel.
WTF!!!
Thinkin of pullin the pump out and installing a second hand one in there.

Do you have an aftermarket pump in your car?

Sometimes the fuel pickup on aftermarket pumps can / will not reach as low as a stock pickup which is why this happens. You can try and adjust the bracket to make it sit a bit lower, or perhaps modify the pickup. My old Nissan had a aftermarket pump installed and I had to do the same (keep it above 1/4 tank), but after a couple of weeks I got used to it and it didn't really bother me..
