I reinstalled my OEM bulbs the other day and my lights are very very dim.
first pic is with low beams only, second pic is with low beams + fogs.
Both are taken from driving position.

maybe you reconnected them wrongly? did u remove the whole headlight when you did it? coz when you put it back maybe u aimed them downwards?

No, just the bulbs. Is it possible to install bulbs upside down?

not really. with the tri-spoke design they cant really be put in any other way than the right way

its possible that they are not seated correctly.

They do seem to wobble a bit when I poke them, but I mean the dot on the bulb is lined up with the housing and the clip is secure. Could that really affect light output anyhow?

the bulbs aern't suppose to wobble if they are properly installed.

maybe take the whole headlight out, then put the bulb in and clip it in.

otherwise try aiming the lights up abit.

I'm a noob, I'd rather not take the whole headlight out. I mean even if they were aimed a bit up, that would merely change the direction and not the actual light output?

Your car an Euro? If it is, you put your H1 bulbs in upside down. Take them out and you'll probably find that the filament coil is on the bottom. Just rotate the bulb 180º so that the filament is on top and put it back in. Yes, on the Euro, you can put the bulb in the wrong way. And yes, I did the same mistake before.
