i'll be out on the track 2morrow night, hopefully if the weather holds up, after 6 weeks of cancelations from the calder park officials due to weather tomorrow should be a good night for racing.

since last timwe i was out:
i have new clutch, tuned vafc 11 (135 fwkw), tien s/s coilovers and toyo r888 semi slicks.

hope to break that 13 second time ............

155.41km/h a bit low for 135wkw??? Or am I off the mark?

Damn with 135kw atw you shouldn't have a problem hitting 13's. We done 13.6 on our Stock ITR motor with 122kw atw.

pretty low. Should be looking around 100-102MPH

Either the car is very heavy or the power figure is wrong. ET and speed are way down. Luke's EG ran 14.4 with a dead standard H22A that made 106kw at the wheels.

135 kw is on a hub dyno.. so on a normal dyno it'll be about 110-115kw atw

- With the suspension make it as hard as you can on the back, and about half to 2/3 that on the front.
- strip it out. Weight = slow
- lower your front tyre pressures to around 18-20psi. Run the rears to 40psi.
- make your engine mounts as solid as you can.

That should help you a bit.

thanks,
on the night, i ran bst times with rear suspension set to stiffest, and the front on 6 clicks from hard (tein s/s) i also have engine damper and semi slicks but i think pressures were close to 30psi......
thans for your help and input.
i hope to be bac out next week friday to improve and get the suspension set u right.
do you recommend any engine mounts??????

On our car we run solid engine mounts. There are no bushings whatsoever. Its impossible to do this on a road car (and illegal) so go for whatever you can that will firm it up as much as possible but still keep the car liveable day to day.
