I was driving my DA9 this morning, got to an intersection, put the clutch in and as the revs dropped to around idle speed, i heard an electrical "click" and the car just died. Then it wouldnt start (it just kept turning over, but seemed to have trouble firing) so i had to keep trying it and waiting, and so it eventually started after waiting for about 5-10 mins. Im thinking it could be the distrubutor? Or maybe even the immobiliser? Coz when its warm, it seems to have trouble starting quite often anyways, as it wll keep turning over, but just wont fire. Then i leave it for about 5-10 mins and it starts! Any suggestions? Thanks

sounds like your main/fuel relay, located, underneath your dash, on the right, big realy with about 5-7 wires going to it.
gray in colour i think it is, like a block kinda thing.
next time it happens.
when you turn your key on the "on" position it should click, when it clicks, it's working.
if it doesn't click your main relay is dead.

what happens is that the solder jjoints get dry.
and when they heat up they fail, so when it cools down again, it will work.

you can resolder the points on the relay or fork out money for a new one.
there is a DIY in the DIY section of resoldering the main/fuel relay
