seat rails SR3/4/fixed bucket

if i buy a fixed seat bucket say from bride or recaro... do i just buy the sidemounts and attach them to my current sr3/sr4 rails ?

or do i have to buy side mounts + new set of rails aswell ?

Should be able to use your sr3/4 rails so long at the side bracket attachments mount. The Sr3/4 mounts from 2 bolts on each side bracket, so if the holes line up you'll be fine. If not you can use a long flat piece and mount that between the two, bunnings sell the piece of metal for around $10 for a length of about 1mtr, thats enough for one side, so you will need 2 if they don't fit, cut them to size and drill the holes. Its cheaper than buying new slider brackets. P.S the metal is pretty thick you may need some cutting compound to put on the drill bits otherwise you may not be able to drill them
