I just was reading in another thread that I can advance/retard the timing a max of 10 degrees but shouldn't go more than 5 degrees. Is this correct?
I want more low end power so I should advance the timing but If I'm getting it tuned at my local mechanic, not a Dyno, can he find the best setting?

Also I have the MSD Ignition system installed which I think will help allow me to advance the timing?

Any input is appreciated,
Thanks Brett.

if thats your aim, you dont need to buy cam gears

you can modify the OEM cam gear key.

if you goto a good tuner they will know what to adjust it to.
If you want better low end, that's usually retarding the cam gear.
You will never know how much better it is without a dyno.
