just interested, having this in one thread would be useful

just pick an option fromt the list, then tell us a few things...

1. What tyres
2. Style of driving
3. wat car
4. wat tyre pressure
5. how often do u rotate, if at all

any more info relating to tyre wear would be helpful to all

thnx

As for me, my oem good years

185/70 r14, lasted for 32,00kmz, pretty hard driving

32psi all round on a civic

fronts on average 40K (first set were falkens which still lasted 40K but got rid of because tyres were attrocious in wet..still had tread..but next were sets of dunlop: fm901s, direzas and now sportmaxx

rears...last change approx a year ago (dunlop sport maxx). Previous tyres - were on the car for 4+ years...so equalled 100K+ lol (these were the fm901s)

2. mix of cruise and spirited driving
3. integra
4. usually between 34 - 38 psi (running 36 atm)
5. not very often...once a blue moon or when I wheel allignment lol

potenza gIII's 205/50/15
rears about 20,000

fronts about 40000

rears are that low because of a negative camber. they are now fix.

About 30-35000km at the moment

1. Yokohama C.Drive
2. Grandpa/Track
3. Rolla
4. 40PSI
5. 10000km
That includes about 500km on the track.

mine lasted 35-40 k but at that point they were bald..

I did melbourne driving as well as highway driving and last 10,000 was on rough bitumen in cold weather at high altitude (if that matters)
Yokohama v505's
38PSI (nitrogen)

40PSI hot, I'm probably better off going down to 38 to get more grip. Run that high on the street to keep wear even (for my setup) and to lower fuel consumption. Told you I was a grandpa driver :P
