If your muffler/exhaust is new, there is a smell from it for the first few days/weeks. If it is not new, your cat might be dead and you may need to replace it.

Just replace the cat if it is dead. Have the cat checked by an exhaust shop. You can get a highflow Metalcat for $300 (plus extra to weld flanges on) or get a regular cat for much cheaper.

I went to the exhaust shop today and they said nothing wrong with the exhaust system. they said is coz the computer. it gives the fuel too rich.....i have a plan to go dyno one day....and get the APEXI VAFC tuned......is this the only way that can slove this problem?
thx

just reset your ecu before you go out and spend more money.
take out the 15a and 7.5a in ur fuse box from memory its the top left hand corner.
take them out leave the car for about 15 minutes then plug em back in
or just take the postivie side of the battery off for about 10 minutes.
Then after that
start the car
and let it idle for about 5 minutes
and drive like you would normally drive.

Just need to pull out the negative terminal of your battery. You don't need to do the idle learn procedure again because it is not deleted. The car will idle fine.
