Steering Makes Sound

ok light steering is ok, but wen i go full lock both left and right it makes a squeekish sound, feels like its being blocked by something (haved checked and its not being held up by anything).

my steering fluids is at the bottom line and wen u turn the steering wheel left or right just before full lock u see the steering fluid jump to the top line then goes back to the lower line wen u back off.

any help would be appreciated

yeah my steering rack is making funny sounds tooo! only when i turn right still to work out what it is! but i noticed my boot was split, would doubt that would have a comtribution towards to the sound

umm it doesnt make any sound at all, only just before full lock each side ( right and left ) it makes a squeek sound and is really hard like rubbing against something..

ahh wells better to get it checked by a mechanics

bro, check your manual & see how full the power steering fluid is supose to be first.

ok mechanic said first of all not suppose to go full lock and said its fine LOL? wtf

1. it might be your cv joints
2. check splash guard might be scraping
3. mayb damaged suspension
4. as for power steering fluids should just be above the line a little bit when not turning or anything

if all fails get a power steering flush, even if it doesnt fix it it is well worth it since it is a rarely done operation
