Fellow Integra owners,

For some reason i have to change my rear left brake light every month. Also when i step on the brake, the fog lights come on, and the interior light (clock odometer) comes alite (this is during the day). based on my assumptions, there maybe some sort of electrical malfunction, just wanted to know if you guys have encountered similar issues. and which technician would you advise?

Car: 2000 integra type R

Regards

Jerry

try and check the fuses it could be fuse playing up on you

or you could be buying the rong bulbs it wattage could be too high as for technicians try any electrical technician they figure it out if its the last resort

^ as he said also check the grounding and the wires that are hooked up to the brake light, as said before do u touch the globes while putting it in?

i'll definately take a look at the fuse.
regariding the bulbs, im using narva bulbs that i got from autobarn.
i do touch the bulb while putting it on, im sure that would have much on an impact, its not like halogens or halides.
if things comes to worse, i'll get an electrician.

thanks

sounds like wiring issue..... damaged or bad grounding

also check if there has been any wiring mods for a brakelight spoiler or alarm hookup. plus it is a good idea to replace all brake globes and check there is no water damage.
Thanks
