but everybody knows the sohc header wont fit the d16a8/zc......why the seller told me its fit?

they may fit. as long as the studs line up they will fit. what you have to watch it the port sizes on the manifold of the SOHC to the gasket of the DOHC. you will see that the SOHC manifold will have to be ported out to match the shap of the DOHC gasket. this was the case with my xforce manifold...unsure about ebay stuff. also look out for distance between cross member and fan

because it will FIT your HEAD. But the height of it might be different and the sump location might be different. Only way to fin out is to get it and trial fit it and see if it clears the entire block / sump underneath

just noticed you have a jap spec ef....if its a b series get only DOHC b series stuff, you will be cutting yourself short for power

Looks like they could be for the D16A8, I got have a set of mercury cheapie on my EGSi with the same engine and they look very simliar to that of the ebay item. Though it's hard to know for sure w/out comparing them side to side.

I bought a boss kit from the same seller and my experience with him has been great ie prompt dispatch and quality of the generic boss kit was v good. I guess you should ask him to verify/guarantee it would fit your DOHC eng b4 buying.

where did u buy the header for ur d16a8 and how much?

just my local exhaust shop complete system using OE cat, $700 installed.

but the headers are just mild steel and finishing quite rough, the ebay item is stainless steel and the welds are much better.

also I got my headers ceramic coated for about $220.
