EK hatch boot latch question

Hey guys, still trying to iron out a few minor things. I've noticed over the past couple of days that the boot lever on the driver side seems to unlatch the boot, but when I go back to open the boot, it's not fully open. A clip is still holding it and it'll only open up if I pull it up a bit harder.

When I use the key to open the boot, it opens fine.

I notice a cable in the latch. Was wondering whether it was something simple as tightening something somewhere. Any ideas?

there will be 2 10mm bolts
loosen then n you will be able to adjust the position of it.
