Civic Type R - prices? EK9 EP3?

I got a friend who is looking into civic type R's the frog eyes one and the one after it.

Can someone tell me the rough going prices for them? and how much would insurance etc cost.

Dude, these cars are very scarce, i think if you or your friend are serious about one, you may have to look further than your own state!!

It seems like you need to do a fair bit more research. Neither car was brought in by Honda Australia and both are rare. Good luck finding an ek, but the ep's are available as hinezz suggested.

As for private importing - again, do your research. You wont be able to get an ek9 easily.

thank you all for your comments. Can someone please tell me the rough going prices? does 28-30k sound about right (EP3)? provided its avg km, good condition.

This isn't for me, my mate just asked me how much they were going for and i saw 29k on carsales and wasn't sure if its expensive or not.
