gday guys
my accelerator pedal has been sticking quite a fair bit recently, and after numerous sprays with RP7, and carby cleaner, my mechanic reckons the cable is in the shits and due for a change.
just wondering:
a. if i cant find a b16a cable, can i use 1 from a b18a/b/c?
b. how long does it usually take to replace?
c. is it DIY-able?

cheers

yes its a very easy job

I dont think you can use a DC2 cable and not sure which cable would be a best fit for your car

i would assume a cable from a DA6?
where does the cable connect to on either end?

to the accelerator pedal, but its fixed to the firewall. you twist it 45deg from the firewall to release it, then undo it from the pedal.
