Is Canada as cheap as the states for parts and getting work done eg.port and polishing?

Canada is a BIT more expensive for parts than the states.. sucks :thumbdwn:

As for the P&P if I get it done professionally, it's gonna run me about $1000 :eek: However being a DIY'er I'd like to get my hands on a spare block and attempt it myself
