doing a bit of reading
got a DC2R it has a replacement gearbox in it.im not sure if it's a type r box or not
so could someone please tell me what the vtir's rev at at 100
and what there DC2R's rev at, at 100??
they shud be different as the vtir has a 4.4 final drive where as the type r has 4.785, correct???(info from other threads)

also if i was to go to say 4.9 final drive, what woiuld i be revving at, at 100? how much would i be looking at to get 4.9's?labour and parts?
and how much difference in fuel economy?major or minimal?

the vtirs should be revving at around 3-3.2 while the itr would be reving at 3.5 at 100kms. why dont u look at ur gear box from the top and see if it says LSD.

For AUDM DC2-R final drive,
Use M-Factory 4.928 (98 Spec) final drive - $710
(Or Pro Series for turbocharged applications - $965)

For fitting, we charge as follows:
Labour to R & R gearbox is $400 (clutch / flywheel change at no extra labour)
- OEM HONDA Manual transmission fluid change included.
Overhaul B-Series gearbox - $250 + parts. (Syncos etc if required)

So assuming your gearbox has no problems, total cost is from $1300 - Drive away.
