Hey guys, i wanted too get into the hobby of spray painting a spare bumper bar I got. I figured i'd shave off the side trims and fill them up with fibreglass and sand the whole bumper bar back, and prep it then paint it
but i wanted some tips, now i know i am going too need a 8+ CFM air compressor because ill get orange peel if i dont but im probably just gonna get a 4 CFM air compressor plus a regulator and put up with the refill delay (im only doing a bumper bar probably wont bump into any problems but just incase)
ive done a lot of research and seen stuff available like
- 2 pack paint (probably avoid since i dont have the gear for it)
- water based (is that what all panel beaters use?)
- acryllic (no idea here)
where could i also get the actual paint from ? honda themselves?
