Hey guys,

Picked up my car Monday and I could not be happier with it. I never wanna see or drive an auto again! The power delivery is awesome and you just have so much more control of the car than you do with an auto.

The car dyno'ed at 150kw at the wheels on 8 pounds (same amount of boost I was running on the auto), which means it picked up 20 kw at the wheels just from the manual conversion and a re-tune (I had it dyno'ed at the same place a couple of weeks before I took it in for the manual conversion).

The manual should be able to handle a bit more boost so I will probably take it back there in a couple of weeks to maybe up the boost a couple of psi.

Now all I've gotta do is learn how to drive it properly ;) We're overdue for another Accord meet btw haha

yeehaa 150 kw at the wheels should be enough 2 keep a standard/mild rex or sx honest dude!

Im importing a turbonetics kit for my F22B, it runs a BB T3/T4 Hybrid, and 10 psi, frount mount, all piping, oil lines, fuel electronics etc It supposedly gives you 75-100 WHP, So im kinda hoping for 210 230 WHP, but I will be waiting until at least early Sept for the kit to arrive here in Aust (the kit is on backorder)

What turbo, injectors, fuel pump are you running? I think by memory the dude @ CRD said you were running a unichip? Ustill running the OEM fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator?

From what I have heard, 10 12 psi is about a smuch boost as a stock F22B will handle, the rods are kinda weak... But we have a lower compression ratio then most other [acronym:6e04e7490b="Valve Timing and lift Electronic Control"]VTEC[/acronym:6e04e7490b]'s :D

Whats it like on boost? does it wheelspin 1st, 2nd 3rd?

rods arent that weak, there have been many holding up under 1 bar boost daily driven ;)

Just gotta keep the fuel supply up to scratch

Hahah

Yeah I know

I was very happy with the figure it put out.

It should be able to handle 10 psi but Jim kept it on 8 psi for now so I could drive it round for a bit and see how it goes. It will be back there in a couple of weeks or so for a re-tune and hopefully to run a bit more boost (depending on how the engine reacts).

Atm I'm still getting used to driving a manual car, haha. I gave it abit tonight in first without dropping it at all and it wheelspun and torque steered heaps. I'm just happy with the power and control that its giving me atm. It will take me a couple of weeks to fully learn how to drive it properly I reckon.

Yea PIN01S saw you man! Haha you saw me bunny hop down the street haha. I've gotten heaps better since then. What's your car there for dude? Looks like a really nice ride.

Cam, I'm probably going to only run 10 psi on it for now then sometime early next year the block will come out for a complete overhaul and strengthen (can't wait for that!)

I'll let you know how it's going when I give it a full boot (ie when I learn to shift properly!).

Calvo, I'll give u a call man! I'd love to hook up.

Sorry guys

Manual conversion took a couple of weeks, cause they were missing a mount that was impossible to find so they ended up having to fabricate it themselves.

For the conversion kit (just the parts) I paid $1500 from a wreckers in Melbourne (couldn't find neone in Sydney with the complete conversion kit on offer).

I wasn't too sure what I needed for the conversion, so I went off this site: http://www.altech.com.pl/wbt/_specy/auto_to_mant_trans.htm.

Thats bout it really ;)
