dash lights

have any of you ever replaced your dashboard lights? the lights that make the needles visible.

if so, how and what kind of lights are they! thanks.

i have put blue leds in my dash on a 94 model accord and it lights up pretty well.. ill take a photo later on tonight and upload it.. but the blue isnt spread everywhere even.. the 40 on the speedo and the 7 on the rpm are brighter then the rest.. anyone know of a way to make it all even?

All you need todo is sand down the LED to make it distribute the light more evenly but the problem of doing that is you lose quite a bit of light by doing so. Pretty much have the LED looking like frosted glass.
