removing stickers

i want to remove the sticker without removing any paint if this is possible. any suggestions. also if i had to remove it and paint came off....does anybody know how much it would cost to repaint that part of the car only?

hot water and start peeling it off slowly. :thumbsup: , thats one option.

as stated by post above use hot water and grab ur hairdryer to heat up the glue behind it n peel slowly. it won't damage ur paint as long as u don't attempt to scrape it.

can you please check to make sure about this cause im not sure if it will work with this sticker thingo as it is more of a decoration than an actual sticker. its the sticker thingo jsut above the door handle that runs from the front to the back of the car.http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee171/henrygiang_photos/WB2373029435.jpg

does anybody know if it is a painted on pinstripe or a decal?

if you peel a sticker off would it still show there was a sticker there???

like if for instance, the car paints faded from age ???

the best option i always !! use hot water boil from kettle then peel slowly

after that use polish to get all the glue residue off :thumbsup:

Yep on my EG when i peeled off the Civic Gli sticker, you can still see where it used to be, because the paint in that section is darker.

But i found the best method is use a hair dryer and slowly peel things off then use eucalyptus oil to wipe off the excess glue residue.
