What ways can I go about in testing how much petrol my Integra Gsi uses?
It seems to use alot on just a little trip.

fill up your tank to the max, and reset your odometer
next time you fill up a full tank, divide the number of k's (from your odometer) by the amount of fuel (litres), and it will give you a km/L reading

should be somewhere around the 10km/L mark

once you've done THAT and actually established you DO actually have some bad milage going on, you can try:

1. Replace/clean and gap your sparkplugs,

2. Re-set your [acronym:d2df0aea40="Engine Control Unit"]ECU[/acronym:d2df0aea40].

Alright cool

Could anyone provide me statistics on their consumption, so I could compare my results.

well in my [acronym:fecdecf2dc="Single Overhead Cam"]SOHC[/acronym:fecdecf2dc] [acronym:fecdecf2dc="Valve Timing and lift Electronic Control"]VTEC[/acronym:fecdecf2dc] with chipped [acronym:fecdecf2dc="Engine Control Unit"]ECU[/acronym:fecdecf2dc], intake and exhaust, just did 615KM's off 50L..
with about 400KM's of country driving and lots of [acronym:fecdecf2dc="Valve Timing and lift Electronic Control"]VTEC[/acronym:fecdecf2dc] action.. so that's about 12.3Km/L

DC2R= 330-410

Lowest being thrashing it most of the tank
Highest being driving it normal with an occasional thrash

well i own an intergra gsi with headers and full exhaust and i do about 400km high way driving, but short trips which involve starting, stopping and thrashing around 350km using 40 litres, that is also running on bp ultimate.

around town i use about 16 litres per 100km, yeh i know its insane, but i filll up my tank (64 litre tank) and i get 350-400km with the fuel light on. so around town i get like 6km to a litre.

I put in 20 bux and it last me about 120km. something is wrong cos if i floor it it belows black smoke.

weird thing is, on the hume hwy to sydney i can do 400km on half a tank.

maybe i just flog it too much hahaha

you can't really tell by lookin at the needle
i've done 150km on half before, and got over 350km's even before my fuel light came on

i've been getting over 550km's a tank, and i've been putting in 45 Litres everytime, in my inetgra vtir, that works to be about 8.1L/100Ks, one tank i got 587k's off 45L's thats 7.66L/100K's which is ****ing awesome. i was happy with that. rememebr guys only eva use genuine honda lubricants including engine oil, thats why it's called HONDA FEO (Fuel Efficent Oil). get it?? before i was using HOnda FEO i was only getting about 480 oer tank
then it jumped up by almost 100 Ks per tank just cos of a good oil. adn oil is not too expensive though. i've been meaning to try mobil 1, but neva got round to it. so anyways it's worth ur money to service ya car every 5000K's or so. hope this was a help to u

hey 16CTEG
do u ever hit [acronym:59c80039a1="Valve Timing and lift Electronic Control"]VTEC[/acronym:59c80039a1]?
cos that is an impressive fuel economy

my fuel tank comes down to how i treat the car
i've been trashing the shit outta mine on this tank
done about 350km, and just on the borderline of the fuel light comin on

I own of a 94 VTIR, i get roughly under 400kms from a full tank. Thats just normal driving (not driving miss daisy but not F1 driving either). Is that normal is is my car running too rich? Most of you guys seem to get around 500 which is plenty... I currently don't have any mods besides a K&N airfilter but soon will be getting cams when i figure out the right one for my budget.

I don’t know about you guys, but I am pretty sure that a good air filter will enhance your fuel economy. The short trips in running you car will effect your fuel economy, as in short trips you are expect to hit over 3000rpm allot more while changing gears compared to cruzing on a freeway. This will contribute to you car using allot more fuel on short trips.

As I said, I’m no expert
