Im still not completely clear about the meaning behind the numbers in wheel offsets.

I have a 2006 Civic on which I replaced the original rims with some other Honda OEM rims off an accord. However I found these wheels appear far tucked into my wheel arches. I suppose this is an offset mismatch.

Can somebody please tell me the offset of rims that would fit well with my Civic? Thanks

here are a few diagrams to help grasp your mind around it, from the sounds of it the accord offset is too positive
