quick qns

does the DC2/4 headlights already ahve stock projectors in them? (if they have them...does that mean i can install the HID kit and drive on the road without blinding oncoming traffic?)

i am thinking of installing a HID kit pretty soon and also what is a safe kelvin rating..i.im liking the look of 8000K but im thinking 6000K is the better choice? needs people's opinions here!

cheers guys =]

Yep as above, I have 5000k Phillips Diamond Vision, highly recommend if you don't want to spend big on hid kit.

thanks destruksn and q_ball for the quick replies =]

yeah i thought so about the 6000K over 8000K...but would i be able to have usuable light in the rain if stick with the 6000K? (bad experience with those cheap blue tinge lights...went back to stock)

would installation if the hids be similar to the one installed in the DC2R if they are plug and play?

I would recommend 4300K-5000K over 6000K. I started with 6000K and all it did was light up the street signs REALLY GOOD but in rain it sucked. Now very happy with 4300K. Not sure what 5000K would be like :)

Diamond Visions are not cheap at approx $150 a pair, they are the original not imitation.

Even OEM HID's sucked when it comes to rain, I found halogens that are slightly yellow the best when it comes to rain.
