I've got a set of king spring lows on my 2003 Civic Sedan and recently my shocks blew. I'm interested in obtaining a set of Koni shocks but am getting mixed feedback on their availability. I've tried contacting koni with no reply. Can any 7th gen owners confirm the availability of these and whether any have them fitted. Also, if any 7th gen owners can recommend any other brand of shocks that are available that will be great.

Cheers.

even though this isnt the most modded car around, ther are still a fair few options

im pretty sure u can get teins from america, from ebay...but im not going down that path, although some ppl think im being foolish by not doing so

u can definetley get a set of koni shocks for a 7th gen, quite easily

ther shoodnt be any problem with availability, just go to a good tyre/wheel/suspension shop and theyll just order a set in for u, dont think itll take more than a week to come in

around 1k for fronts and rears, koni yellows

ther are also monroe shocks, kyb, and a couple more, again these are not the best brands for track or if ur a handling freak...theyr excellent and fine if ur after lowering just for the sake of looks

but im not sure how they would hold up for track use

again a set of kyb or monroes will prob cost around the 800 mark....maybe a little less

The tein coilovers on ebay are ridiculously cheap compared to the costs here. Can any 7th gen owner who has bought tein coilovers on ebay confirm the part number, whether anything else is required (some ebay listings state an 01 kit is needed) and whether it is reliable to buy over ebay.

Cheers
