The dealer told me tat I hav to wait for 2 weeks, since the car is in melbourne now.
How long did it take you guys?
Cant wait to get my hands on it!!!

About 3 days, it was already in stock at the dealer, just needed to be registered and for our money to come around.

We bought ours during the Honda One Day Sale a couple of years ago. Took about 3 weeks as well - even though they had some in stock.

Our MY07 CRV took longer, from 30th May and pickup in early August. :eek:

Yeh if its in stock then it takes a few days to install the accessories, sort out the Rego, test the car, etc..

If its not in stock then you could wait months

My Euro took less than a week, but that's because the car was already on the way from Melbourne just before I bought it. Sometimes it can take up to 3+ months if the car is not available in the country, and I think Honda Aust only ship their new fleet from Japan every 3 months or something. If it's already in Aust, ie. only transfer between states, then shouldn't be more than a month.

What my mate did was because they told him it could take up to 3-4 months for his new car to be delivered from Japan, before he made the deal he asked for a complimentary vehicle to freely use until the new car arrives. Surprisingly he got it, it was an old accord though, but better than nothin :thumbsup:

My one was already in the dealer's yard when I went shopping for it, it only took 4 days to pick it up cause I have to fix up finance and have the spoiler fitted. They don't have any fog light kits in their workshop, so they installed it at the 1k service.

It took 5 days for mine. Finance was like 5 minutes of that. ;-)

mine took 6 weeks, supposingly they didnt have a lux graphite in NSW. i found that hard to believe i was orignally promised 4 weeks. i would specifically state you will be pissed if its late. i didnt get any freebies but thetaxi got paid for.

I'd have thought as the Euro is unofficially in runout mode that most colour/spec/trim combos would be readilly available.BTW in June 06 i waited 3 weeks.

It will not be in Runout mode till the second half of next year. We won't get the new shape Euro till the end of 2008.

I ordered mine in December 2003, was told there would be a 2 month wait.. So in the contract, I specifically asked for a 2004 build plate...

ours was 2 days job.. went to look at the car which was sitting in the showroom as a disply... and signed the paper that afternoon, bank cheque next morning in exchange of the key...
but had to wait a few weeks for the personalised plates to arrive... which was a part of the deal... and that car was picked up 27th Dec. 2005! MY 06 specs..
