noticed the fuel economy is lacking lately,

so disconnected to battery, waited and then reconnected it to reset the ecu incase that was the problem.

didnt make any difference, so pulled out the air filter and sure as hell, the filter was black as.

no car parts place (repco, autobarn, etc) has my air filter in stock, so went to local honda dealer. honda wanted $80 for the air filter.

so that brings me to my question is honda genuine worth it ?

i also wanted to get new brake pads, & engine oil but now i m not so sure about going to honda to get them either considering how much they want for just a air filter.

speaking of engine oil, has anyone used penrite oil, or do most ppl use mobil1 fully synthetic?

autobarn should be able to order in a air filter for you pretty cheap. K&N might make one for your model aswell.

Honda charges thr the nose for parts, best to bring your own and ask them to install it for you.. or better diy
