^^^thats awesome...
also remember that slotted/drilled will cost more (if they will even do them) as they have a higher chance of damaging/chipping their diamond tip machines

thats right if you live close to cabramatta, there are two places that machine discs that i know of for a good price. Turbo Auto Spares and Mekong Spares do them for the $10 mark each side, I have machined my disc of my previous cars from both of those places and they were of equal quality.
The only thing to be careful about is how much of the disc they actually machine off, some places take off quite alot when its not needed which means the life of your disc shorten as it cuts the amount of times you can machine them.
That said Turbo and Mekong have been quite good with the machining of my discs i had done and for the price its a bargain in my opinion.
on a side note, just for everyones information place places also sell genuine honda fluids, mechanical parts, filters and so forth for a reasonable price also
i got mine slotted and drilled rotors machined 2 weeks ago for $18 pair in Canley on Sackville rd
turbo spares in cabb wouldnt be much more

bringing up an old thread.
with these places that you mentioned.
do you take your car in and they take off the rotor and machine them for these prices?
or do they expect you to come in with just the rotors?

I would say those prices are bring in the discs yourself. Not that hard to take off yourself anyways. Best to call them for updated pricing since this thread is old.

They expect u to come in with the rotors off already.
Places like Mekong spares are too busy to take the rotors off for u. they ll tell u to take it off yourself. lol
Not hard... Undo the 2 17mm bolts that hold the caliper to the hub, then with a impact driver and a hammer in hand. remove the 2 screws hold the rotor to the hub and slide it off.

threads from like, 5 years ago bro.
How many places have you called to get quotes?
is that on car or of car?
all these things will make a difference.
Well I rang 4/5 places in a rush, near my work (port melbourne to footscray)
I helped a friend to get a tune @ my local Mechanics in St Albans, so I just asked there, $40 a pair.
I Should of done that in the first place rather than searching these threads.
Thanks Dougie504. - Too far. Thanks Anyway.
