EK taillights, sheared mounting bolt.

RE: EK Hatch tailight.



Hey,

I was fitting new taillight gaskets to my hatch and managed to shear off one of the mounting bolts.

You know, tight as you can get, then another half turn, pop!

Questions:

1) Is it possible to fit a new mounting bolt, or do I have to get a new tailight?

2) anybody know the correct torque to tighten the nut? 1500 page service manual and I can't find it anywhere.

mate i wouldn't really care abt it.
i mean its not like that one bolt will get water in
plus the rear light is all functioning anyway

just chill n be more careful nex time :D
