Hi All,

originally i was going to settle for kmac springs... now looking at either eibach or H&R's and they'll be paired with koni yellows

eibach pro kit 1.2 in f/r lowering
sport line 1.8/1.7 f/r lowering
H & R sport 1.75/1.5 f/r lowering

all 3 are with in the ride height i want and know that both are top brands.

the main reason for my posting this thread is that i'll have about 25kg of audio equipment and dont want the car to look like a boat after lowering as it does now with the rear end in!

the 2nd reason is what front/back ride height difference works best for a cd5 in terms of looks.

thanks
rahul

Hey mate,
I've got koni yellows paired with the sportline eibach springs. The handling is much better than stock and the car also sits level with some weight in the back.
I've got 1 finger gap at the back wheels and 2 fingers gap at the front and i think it looks good and everyone thats seen my car also like it.
I would highly recommend this setup and i've had no problems with it so far. Pm me if you have any other questions.
Cheers.

they are the standard springs for each product line from both companies. got them off the respective websites for a 95 accord. they dont mention the rates, just how much lower they are going to be

I'd recommend the H&R Sport as you seem to have a lot of audio equipment in the rear. The Eibach Sportlines are a great ride, but the rear will tuck and the front will have a 1.5-2.0 finger gap (this might be level but doesn't float my boat).

sensai, Blitz,

does 25 kilos tuck the rear end in with out any passangers? after all, its only the weight of a small child and that shouldn't tuck the car in too much right?

i'm considering changing to a 10in sub and a lighter box... think i can keep the weight to about 20kg. what do you guys think about the rear end sag for that weight?

I've noticed my rear drop changes slightly with a 12" box and a full tank of gas (I'm riding on Tein Basic on CG6)...I've seen it happen to others on Sportlines/koni yellow too.

It's ever so slight & most people who aren't as picky might not even notice :zip:

They're good springs - more comfort oriented...you'll like em

20-25 kg wouldnt drop noticeably with any of those springs

thanks for your thoughts guys...most likely going with the sportline/koni kit. looking into ground control/koni combo as well but dont want to go down the path of looking into too many things.

I have to wait till i get my car fixed cos some idiot thought the road is his private driveway and that there are no lanes!

Hi guys just installed Eibach pro kit and yellow konis best ride....although it's on a euro dunno if it'll be the same on the accord....had to install Eibach rear camber kit as well, while i done that for an extra $300 I installed Eibach front alignment kit aswell for $300 too. Hope that helps in anyway....but in all honest truth great combination....oh drop was 40mm at the front and 35mm at the rear....in all cost me a packet $2,200 installed. *BROKE NOW, DAMN IT*

Since u are purchasing a spring shock setup, yes, u will need to re-use your factory top hats, washers, bump stops, nuts, and other small bits.. Otherwise, u can buy another set from Honda or a wrecker instead of taking apart the stock unit. I would suggest you re-use your stock parts. Be sure to use a spring clamp when taking the stock setup apart. Springs supporting your car > Onto your hand = :(

Hey shen,

Hows the handling now? 10x better? Less roll? Konis make the biggest difference imo.

I second that. He installed my coilovers and did a top job for a very reasonable price.
