I think there might be a problem, when I use my Air conditioning either hot, or cold whenever I turn it off it still leaking air, and it's very annoying the only way I cannot notice it is when I set the temp to warm.
and it still leaks out even when I set off all the air controls like example the icon that gets your feet and body.

This is also a reason why I think my air con gas has run out.
and replacing it, I'd have to ask them to check for leakage I suppose.
But would this affect the cars performance wise? as I heard running the car on with air con slows your performance, and also uses slightly abit more fuel.
Correct me if I am wrong.

try turning on the a/c and off when idling, and see if there is any changes in revs - listen and watch the tacho...
or while driving turn it on and see if there is any power loss...

if you want no air at all coming through close your vents and select the button to circulate air inside only - no outside air....sorry 4got whats it called...

hope u get some results :)

when the aircon compressor is engaged there will be more drag on the crack which will be noticable in the cars performance and fuel consumption.

to stop the air from leaking into the cabin select the air to circulate from inside the cabin. i dont knw what this button is called but its the one with the car on it and an arrow is circulating through it(i hope that explains it hehe)

and yes with the aircon on it does hinder performance and consume more fuel.
tho there apparently is a aircon gas you can use for you not to notice the difference in performance but i havent used it only read about it sorry.
