Hi all

I'm currently have a D15 single cam [acronym:e7cbd996ff="Valve Timing and lift Electronic Control"]VTEC[/acronym:e7cbd996ff] in my car atm. (automatic :( it sad)

Anyway, the engine is in pretty good condition, obviously i need to do a manual
conversion first
If I keep my engine then the manual conversion is about $1200, then i can go with
the option of turbo charge. The kit from US is $2500 shipped include front mount,
blow off valve, [acronym:e7cbd996ff="Engine Control Unit"]ECU[/acronym:e7cbd996ff], waste gate, manifold.... the whole lot

Or
I can get a B16A, $1500-$2000 and that include the gear box

Which one in a better option, i do want to keep the car for a little while

Thanks if anyone can give me some opinion

Dinh

Thanks guys :)
I guess I prob go for the B16, and turbo it later.

I prefer the corner, might bright it to track but also enjoy cruising around the
mountain (it give me a thrill, all good), still alive :D :D

But yeah I also want it to me relatively reliable as well, at least for the next 1 to
2 year (for work)

But yeah all sound good, I would need brake upgrade badly as well coz i have rear drum brake atm, then suspension (shit sound like a fair bit of money!!!!!)

Getting a set of light weight rim next week to start of (front got semi-slick)

Thanks guys

not sure, check it out later

Is it alright to have 16" pair at the front/end, and 15" pair at the other end????

The reason that I considering that is b/c 2 of the set i'm getting is semi-slick, too
expensive to replace yearly so I would just put them on when i'm cruising

woops took a while to post on this baby knowing that the D would be crushed like a ****.....

id go turbo D with manual.

hey mr delsol get on a search engine and search up what people have done/are doing with a turbo D and make your mind up using that information.
there are allot of fast turbo D's gettin around, they just not happen to post on this forum.

they dont even make b's anymore, is that good or bad? :?

that makes 2 to 5, toby :P

yeah, I have driven a D16 turbo, that time he run low boost so prob around 13.5s car, but it has run 12.3s. The guy is the one telling me to run a turbo D.

But it is harder to find part on the D series compare to the B so that's where i'm sort of confuse of which one to choose.

In the US, some ppl have done the D15 single cam turb to 10s mark car so yeah
it can be quick (but that is in the US !!!!!!!!!!!)
