new alarm system

hi. i was curious to what decent alarm systems are out there on the market. also, if i buy an alarm with an immobilizer and the alarm is installed, what happens to the stock immobilizer? i have a 96 coupe. thanks :)

When you usually put an alarm in a car like that. You leave the factory Key immobiliser. And Just install the alarm as normal.

I'd suggest a BW10000 or if you wanted a rhino w/GSM feature. Depends on how much you want to spend. I personally have the BW10000 with a Rhino GSM upgrade that sends a message to my phone when my alarm goes off.

Set me back approx $ 200 for BW & $450 for gsm upgrade.... I done the install myself
