Header collector size question

Hey guys

If i was buying a header with a 2" collector size, how would it affect my setup if the rest of my exhaust was running 2.25". Do I need a special glange to bolt it on and how is performance affected?

I dont know much but i do know that if u have a 2" in the middle of a 2.25" system than theres guna be loss. The chain is as strong as its weakest link id say.
What car do you have? I should be getting a full setup formyself soon. 2.25" as well.

I have a Civic EG. Yeah so you reckon I should get a 2.25 collector size for the header as well? But it's pretty hard to find 2.25", does anyone have XForce 2.25"?
