Looking to upgrade my whole brake system!

Hi guys.

I've recently had an inspection of my brakes, and to be honest they are on the verge of dying.

All four pads need to be replaced a.sap, the front two rotors have 1mm left to be machined, but the rear rotors can no longer be machined.

So thinking about it, I thought it might just be wise to buy a whole new brake set considering they quoted me $950 to do what I just mentioned above.

How much am I looking at to get a reasonable kit for my 4-stud dc2?

that is way over priced should be max about $600 doing it your self

Mate brakes aint cheap, im in a similar position to you at the moment, but for me its not as necessary as much as a want. Ive budgeted the following

1) Front discs DBA slotted - roughly 500
2) Machine rear discs - $30
3) New pads all round - 45 - 500
4) Labour and fluid - 200

Not a cheap exercise, im not gonna bother doing it myself, if i had done it before i would, but id rather pay to have peice of mind with my life
