View Full Version : upgrade from Ek4/EG6 brake MC + booster to DC2R or similar?

Hi all,

i m just wondering for those that upgraded their brake MC+booster from Ek4/EG6 to Dc2R ones... is it worth it? thinking abt it but jsut want to see for those that has done it. diff noticeable?

You have front ITR calipers ~ but you wont notice such a big improvement in pedal feel Nick coz u still have stock rear discs ( smaller pistons than the DC2R or EK9) IMO leave it be.

as bennjamin said if its stoc no poinit, yes if u had a itr set up but there is no real point the ek4 i believe is a 15/16th master while the itr/vtir is 1" it wont make much of a diff on your stock set up, some people even run the 15/16th setup on itr brakes. If you want a bit more feel get a cylinder brace, some braidel lines and some nice pads and your set.

just thinking if it would help with a bigger mc

dc2r master cyl and booster will help 100% with pedal feeling and braking performance

i totally agree with yonas. I have it on my stock EG brakes and it awesome. Increase brake feel and performance. I've used this set-up on the track and it works great. take it from someone that has first hand experience
