Whats the difficulty and cost of a auto to manual conversion in a ek?

pretty pricey dude unless you can contribute to some of the work, it takes time so its the labour that will really hurt you.

Obviously you need the new gearbox, clutch cables, pedal box, clutch master cylinder blah blah blah

i'd sell up you eg and get a manual one

Don't forget changing your wiring to suit (noting worse than driving around all day with your reverse lights on :D )

i had to do the same thing but i was changing the motor myself, and i had a donor car that i got all the parts out of,it is all bolt on if you can get them. The onlything you wil need to get done in the form or major modification is get one of the mounts that bolts onto the cross-member welded on, unless you can get the manual cross-member and also the gearbox mount modified also, all cost only $250 from evolution-R in perth.

Price + Bother = Not worth it.

In most cases its cheaper and a hell of a lot easier to just sell up and buy a manual civic.
